$20 million Endowment Campaign |
San Francisco Ballet, the oldest professional ballet company in America, has emerged as a world-class arts organization since it was founded as the San Francisco Opera Ballet in 1933.
We were privileged to work with both Richard LeBlond and Helgi Tomasson during exciting and challenging times of change. D&A was retained to provide capital campaign counsel
to the San Francisco Ballet's $13 million capital campaign. Christine worked with members of the Capital Campaign Committee to identify new funding prospects, solicit gifts from
new individual and foundation prospects, and assist in the identification and recruitment of new members for the Board of Trustees.
After the successful capital campaign, D&A was retained to: conduct an audit of the development department and prepare a multi-year fundraising plan that would significantly
increase the organization's Annual Fund. A the plan to double the Annual Fund in two years was successfully implemented under Christine's direction. New initiatives such as: the
Regional Council program, the Christensen Society, the National Corporate Council, the Program Underwriting program and the revised membership program were all developed by
Christine and managed by the development staff. As part of this engagement, D&A was asked to prepare a planning document for an anticipated $20 million endowment campaign.
